Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educator’s Association (PCMEA), IUP Chapter, Fall 2020 - Present

PCMEA is the Collegiate branch of the Pennsylvania Music Educator’s Association. PCMEA chapters hold meetings and professional development workshops for Music Education students throughout the year and enable their members to attend the annual PMEA In-Service Conference for additional professional development and networking opportunities.

The Promising Scholars Program is a scholarship-based program at IUP for Black and Latino students who are dedicated to high academic achievement.

Esperanza Infinity Award (IUP), Fall 2023

The Esperanza Infinity Award is a scholarship awarded to Latino students who display high academic achievement and is awarded at the recommendation of faculty.

John Philip Sousa Award (Canon-McMillan High School), Spring 2020

The John Philip Sousa Award recognizes high school seniors who have displayed high achievement and leadership in music-related subjects. This award is given at the recommendation of both peers and faculty.
